Prospect Central Draft Preview on Sportsnet 650

Jun 21, 2019, 18:30 EDTUpdated: Jun 21, 2019, 17:45 EDT
Earlier this afternoon, myself and Dobber Prospects Cam Robinson joined Sat Shah for a special edition of Prospect Central.
With the draft a few hours away, there was plenty to dive into prior to the Canucks make their first pick. But given that we were recording at the NHL hotel, there were plenty of guests to grab and we were joined by Philadelphia Flyers head coach Alain Vigneault and St Louis head coach Craig Berube.
We were also joined by Utica Comets head coach Trent Cull to talk about development, Kole Lind, Olli Juolevi, and Lukas Jasek.
In the second half of the show, we broke down what the Canucks might do and what other things might happen with the other teams in the top 10. We dissected how Trevor Zegras might be available for the Canucks at 10th overall, if they have interest in Broberg, and the various trade rumours.
We also try to figure out if the Canucks would be willing to take Vasili Podkolzin with the 10th overall selection.
It’s a perfect primer to get you ready for the first round of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft here in Vancouver.
