It should come to nobody’s surprise who No. 1 is…
1. Alex Edler
Because he’s officially the Canucks’ all-time scoring defenseman! The first attempt of an ovation at Friday’s game was interrupted when Nashville scored during the announcement, but luckily I was able to catch the second round of applause:
2. Daniel Sedin
He just keeps. on. going.
3. Henrik Sedin
He keeps moving up the NHL’s all-time scoring list:
Vancouver Canucks forward Henrik Sedin has passed Pat Verbeek and tied Joe Mullen for 69th and 68th on the all time points list with 1063. Daniel Sedin has tied Alexander Mogilny for 76th on the all time point list with 1032. #Canucks
4. Brock Boeser
The Canucks rookies were brought up on stage at the Dice and Ice for the annual rookie ‘initiation’ segment. If you were lucky enough to catch it on the team’s Instagram story, you would know that Boeser’s turn was pretty funny. If you missed it, that’s too bad. He also won this prestigious award:
Your #GongerAwards winner for Best Make Up & Design AKA best flow in the show is no other than @Canucks rookie sniper @BBoeser16
5. Brendan Leipsic
He’s looked really good in his first two games as a Canuck. Plus, he’s really smart:
Leipsic on SN : “get the puck to Boeser, I found that out quickly.”
6. Bo Horvat
Who knew he has this in him?!
Bo Horvat makes sure to hand out receipts for elbows given to him
7. Brandon Sutter
He scored a beauty goal vs Nashville. Who knew he had this in him?!
8. Alex Biega
He signed a well-deserved two-year contract this week:
"I've proven that I can sit out and then come in and be ready and contribute right away... I try to bring value to that." - Alex Biega
9. Tyler Motte
He had a PK shift on Wednesday vs NYR that was insanely good. I couldn’t find any clips, but take my word for it.
10. Nikolay Goldobin
He scored a nice goal against King Henrik:

11. Troy Stecher
Because of his lovely drawing skills:
Sketches by Stech are as fun as they sound! 🖍😁 @troystecher #DiceandIce
12. Jacob Markstrom
Because he can pull off a shirt with hundreds of fish on it:
13. Anders Nilsson
He kickstarted a goal with a lovely poke check:
A poke check at one end...
14. Michael Del Zotto
When I search Del Zotto on Twitter, these lovely pups came up:
15. Derrick Pouliot
He had 2 assists this week.
16. Darren Archibald
He had 1 goal and 1 assist this week
17. Jake Virtanen, Sam Gagner, Nic Dowd
He had zero points this week.
16. Ben Hutton
He hasn’t had a point in 2 months. Two.
17. Erik Gudbranson
Yikes…
Ryan Johansen with an illegal move on Gudbranson.
18. Sven Baertschi and Loui Eriksson
They’re both out for the season – Baertschi with a shoulder separation and Eriksson with a fractured rib.
19. Brendan Gaunce, Markus Granlund, Chris Tanev
They’re injured.
20. Jussi Jokinen
If you thought Thomas Vanek’s 7 teams in 8 years is bad, the Canucks are Jokinen’s fourth team THIS year.
