<p>On today&#8217;s episode of Canucks Conversation, we were joined by 2023 NHL Entry Draft eligible prospect David Reinbacher. The 6&#8217;2 right shot defenceman is one of the best options for the Canucks to select if he&#8217;s still there at 11th overall.</p>
<p>He&#8217;s been one of the fastest risers as the draft approaches, as many scouting outlets didn&#8217;t have him near the top ten in their rankings at the start of the year. He&#8217;s big, physical, and moves the puck very well, and people have now taken notice. Many believe he&#8217;s a lock to go in the top ten of the draft, but others think he&#8217;ll be there for the taking when the Canucks take the stage to select at 11th overall.</p>
<p>We asked Reinbacher, who&#8217;s in Finland with Team Austria for the World Championships right now, about the comparisons he&#8217;s been getting from scouts to Detroit Red Wings defenceman Moritz Seider. Reinbacher hadn&#8217;t heard that comparison before, and explained why he doesn&#8217;t think it&#8217;s an accurate one.</p>
<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s nice to be compared to a big guy like him,&#8221; said Reinbacher. &#8220;But I would say I&#8217;m not the [type of] guy who plays like him. He plays a little bit harder than me, he&#8217;s a little bit higher, stronger, I wouldn&#8217;t say I&#8217;m the same playing [style] as him.&#8221;</p>
