We close out the holiday season with an extended visit from Nation writer and all around swell chap Jonathan Willis.
Lowetide also adds his own thoughts to the mix on where the Oilers may be headed and we make a short stop in Winnipeg to see how the fans are enjoying the suddenly red hot Jets.
This is Nation Radio.
Cult of Hockey writer, ESPN insider, Hockey Prospectus contributor and CIA operative (probably) Jonathan Willis starts us off with some WJHC talk.
JW sticks around, this time to discuss all things Oilers, including some trade possibilities, the state of the defense and some thoughts on Edmonton’s coaching and management.
JW and Allan discuss stories from around the NHL.
Lowetide goes it alone in this segment, discussing varoius topics including how imperialist regimes perpetuate their hegemony over oppressed subjects (not really…it’s actually mostly Oilers prospects in the WJHC talk).
Scott Taylor of JetsNation joins LT to talk about the Jets in general and Nik Antropov, Mark Scheifele, potential trades and the Winter Classic in particular.
The final segment is a short one, with Lowetide’s thoughts on the future of the Oilers.
And here’s the whole thing for the keeners.
