Andy Strickland reported earlier today that the Canucks were closing in on a deal with 6,5 pugilist Brad Winchester. Good way to find out when the deal has been signed is to constantly refresh the roster page on the teams official site – as it will likely be updated prior to the official media-release announcing the signing.
The Canucks and Coyotes have swapped February home-dates, meaning the Canucks will now play at Jobbing.com Arena on February 28th, instead of at Rogers Center. Here’s The White Towel breaking down the ramifications of the swap.
