don't have a photo of it, it's in storage in another city, but for my 11th birthday, my little sister got me a Canucks jersey. Unfortunately our hometown of nelson didn't have a shop that added nameplates. So she bought off-sized letters for LINDEN and 16 and added them herself

Welcome back to Memorabilia Monday! Today, we’re diving into fans’ most prized Vancouver Canucks jerseys. Signed, unsigned, framed, unframed, we asked, and fans answered!
Some true one-of-ones
In the hobby, 1-of-1 cards and memorabilia are highly sought after. We’d call these pieces 1-of-1’s (kind of).
Would you mail a jersey to Russia in hopes that Pavel Bure would sign it and send it back to you? Aidan did!
Signed Pavel Bure jersey. Got the jersey shipped to Russia to have him sign it. Worth the money in my opinion.
I asked Aidan what made him confident that Bure would sign it and send it back, to which he said:
“I used a 3rd party company that deals with him directly. I vetted them and everything came back legit. Apparently they don’t do it all the time, was just lucky to see that they were doing it at the right time.”
Well, I’ll be damned.
Where to begin? How many signed Jaroslav Halak Canucks jerseys are out there? How about signed Cam Neely jerseys? Okay, maybe there are more of those, but the point stands — this is an impressive Canucks collection, and we haven’t even gotten into the cards he’s got on display! Maybe another week…
Waiting for the right moment, and the right player…
How many JT Miller, Quinn Hughes, Bo Horvat, or Andrei Kuzmenko jerseys were purchased within a month of those players being traded? We’d guess quite a few. Here’s a jersey that will never go out of style, and a patient owner who needed to be SURE that would be the case before he pulled the trigger:
Signed Burrows Jersey! I had a blank up until the day after he slayed the dragon- I immediately pledged my allegiance with a name and number and got him to sign it at training camp at UBC that Fall
Speaking of which…
All of my Luongo jerseys .. but my away Panthers is a bit extra special as he brought it from Florida for me . ( my Bure is a close 2nd tho lol )

Got bored during covid and starting collecting , trading, running memorabilia pages.
Not Canucks but got it when luongo was a Canuck and won gold in 2010. Black skate Hughes was my old favourite but it’s now relegated .
Jan 2010 after scoring back to back hattys i asked burr how it feels. He said all that matters was the big 2 points!
I read “the big two points” in Alex Burrows’ voice. Anyone else?
Bryan Allen mentioned again

First of all, there is nothing to be ashamed of as the owner of an Alex Mogilny jersey. Second, that’s a fantastic story. What a thoughtful gift from your then-girlfriend. I can see why you married her!
Ryan Johnson’s auto is… clean
Finally, we get to a jersey of the man in charge.
Gotta say my RJ Jersey. Was one of my favs back when he played and then turns out he became friends with my brother and they still friends to this day.
Did anyone else know Ryan Johnson had such a clean autograph? As a Seattle Mariners collector, one of my biggest frustrations is just how awful-looking Ichiro’s autograph is.
I mean, seriously:
The story goes that Ichiro signed his name this way to discourage counterfeits, and there are even accounts of him folding or creasing items he was signing if he thought they were simply going to be resold. So, I get it, I guess. But it certainly makes me appreciate a nice autograph like Johnson’s!
