Our very own managing editor, the esteemed Joesph Dylan Burke, made an appearance on the Canucks Lunch segment on TSN 1040 today, talking Philip Larsen and a small manner of other topics with Matt Sekeres and Blake Price. JD was called upon to defend the article he posted yesterday, titled “Philip Larsen is Adequate”, a take that would seem so benign but has instead become a hot topic – or at the very least, a distraction from the Canucks’ latest losing streak.

Let us hope that the return of Ben Hutton to the lineup will help put this matter to bed. This franchise and fan base could be heading towards a tumultuous period with the trade deadline approaching. Philip Larsen is the last player that we should be tearing each other to pieces over. Just wait until they sell/don’t sell/don’t receive a respectable return for whichever veteran you’re hoping will be out the door by March 1st.
