Listen: J.D. Burke Joins TSN 1040 AM to talk Draft, Klim Kostin and Trading Down

Jun 7, 2017, 20:44 EDTUpdated: Jun 7, 2017, 20:48 EDT
Our own J.D. Burke took to the airwaves this morning, joining Matt Sekeres and Blake Price for the Canucks Lunch segment of the Mid-Day Show to discuss a number of topics relevant to the Canucks and the NHL at large.
We’re weeks away from the NHL Entry Draft, so you know they discussed that in depth. The hosts of the show asked Burke about the Nation Network Prospect Profile countdown in general before diving into which specific prospects interested him. Burke was true to his brand, pumping the tires of Aleksi Heponiemi and Mason Shaw.
Next, they discussed Klim Kostin and the Rick Dhaliwal report that connects the Russian forward to the Canucks. Lastly, they get into a discussion about newly minted Canucks assistant coach Newell Brown and the… drop pass.
You’re just going to have to listen for yourself to get the details. Enjoy.
