We’re getting into the most wonderful time of the year, so why not celebrate? That’s the sense at CanucksArmy, so we’re hosting a Christmas Party this Wednesday at The Pint.
It’s not just a Christmas Party, though. It’s a fundraiser for one of our writers, Jackson McDonald, whose house went down in flames at the beginning of November. It’s put him and his partner into a tough spot financially, and it’s a terrible time of year to be in that place, certainly.
So, we’re selling tickets at $15.00 a pop, and proceeds from ticket sales will go directly towards funding Jackson and his partner’s recovery from these most unfortunate circumstances.
And if you can’t make it out this Wednesday, you have the option of donating directly to a GoFundMe page in Jackson’s name to help the cause.
We all look forward to meeting you at The Pint on Wednesday and sharing a couple of drinks and talking hockey. Happy Holidays to you and yours!
