Henrik Sedin Honoured at Rogers Arena by Henrik Sedin

Feb 4, 2017, 22:29 ESTUpdated:

In a pre-game ceremony before puck drop against the Minnesota Wild, Henrik Sedin was honoured by the Canucks organization for reaching 1000 points. In a video tribute, narrated by Henrik himself, he dedicated his success to his teammates, linemates (thanks, Jason King) and especially the fans.
Henrik was presented with an engraved puck by Stan Smyl on behalf of the team, while Trevor Linden presented him a Tiffany’s engraved crystal with 1000 points on it on behalf of the NHL. Henrik also received a silver stick.
Henrik reached his 1000th point in a game prior on January 20th against the Florida Panthers, against former teammate Roberto Luongo. Next up will likely be Daniel Sedin who is currently at 969 points, 31 away from 1000 himself.
