Headshots October 26th

Oct 26, 2011, 16:45 EDTUpdated: Oct 26, 2011, 16:48 EDT

Cody Hodgson imitates the face I make when I read yet another "Canucks goaltending controversy" take.
Headshots are a Canucksarmy feature where we link to the days freshest news, and other assorted Canucks web-goodies. If you’ve written a blogpost, made a tribute video or birthed a clever .gif into existence – please e-mail me at thom.drance@gmail.com.
Guess who is refereeing the game in Vancouver tonight? Why it’s our old friend Stephane Auger! This doesn’t auger well for Alex Burrows, in fact, if I were you I’d rush to bodog and place a bet on him taking a "diving" penalty tonight. Free money! I’d also pick Burrows to be called for over five penalty minutes tonight, either as a result of a misconduct or because of three totally bull-shit minors. How does Auger still have a job in this league? What a joke.
Harrison Mooney of Pass it to Bulis (who is in our thoughts today as he goes under the knife) wonders whether or not "Keith Ballard is ever going to tweet anything (so that we can make fun of him and chase him off of twitter like we always do muhaha)."
Cam Charron takes on Bieksa and Ballard’s albatross +/- numbers and succinctly demonstrates why it doesn’t particularly matter or reflect their level of play. Please tell your friends that +/- is garbage, especially if you’re friends with @sportsnetmurph.
GIF BREAK: if only Luongo’s glove hand was as sticky as his hair! (Via Luongo .gif artist extraordinaire Chloe Ezra)

David Booth verified his new twitter account to the Vancouver press today, but he doesn’t have that glamorous blue check mark yet.
CanucksHockeyBlog has another "The Game According to Twitter" post that completely ignores all the awesome stuff that I tweet during the games. One day I’ll make it.
And lets end it off with a craigslist ad that really says it all about the state of the Canucks fanbase at the moment. Sad.
