Headshots October 18th

Oct 18, 2011, 16:23 EDT

Young Naslund.
Headshots are a Canucksarmy feature where we link to the days freshest news, and other assorted Canucks web-goodies. If you’ve written a blogpost, made a tribute video or birthed a clever .gif into existence – please e-mail me at thom.drance@gmail.com.
Friend of the Blog @mhenderson95 has reinvigorated his "info graphs for every Canucks season" series with a look at the frankly depressing 1994-95 season. Why so depressing? It ended in a sweep to the Blackhawks.
A big question with Kesler’s return tonight is, can Hodgson adjust to playing the wing? Daniel Wagner of Pass it to Bulis looks into it.
Great use of tumblr over at sealcat.tumblr.com – mashing up this photo of Bieksa and Rypien with a few particularly touching lines from Ian Macintyre’s piece on their relationship. Beautiful stuff.
Today instead of a gif break, we’ll have a video break. Johnny Canuck is back, and this year – he vows redemption.
Marion Gaborik thinks a "fast start" is essential if the Rangers hope to take two points from tonight’s game.
Katie Maximick hates on the Luongo haters over at CHB.
The Canucks have spent 6 and change more minutes short-handed than with the man-advantage so far this season. Think a slew of games on home-ice might remedy that pretty quickly? I do.
