Is the NHL being ushered back into another Dead Puck Era? Ed Willes suggests that it might just be and if so, the news isn’t so good for the Vancouver Canucks.

An important note re: Canucks and NHL discipline. The NHL rescinded Maxim Lapierre’s game misconduct for the phantom spear during the Canucks’ February 9th game in Minnesota. Why is this important? Because if Lapierre happens to be penalized another game misconduct in a future game, he will not be given an automatic one-game suspension.
