You gotta feel good for Byron Bitz after two hellish years of surgery and recovery.
You gotta feel bad for the "professional" photog who took this picture. Seriously, centre the damn thing!

Headshots are a Canucks Army feature where we link to the day’s freshest news, and other assorted Canucks web-goodies. If you’ve written a blogpost, produced a tribute video or birthed a clever .gif into existence – please e-mail Thom at thom.drance@gmail.com.
Kevin Bieksa is continuing his wonderful work to help with mental depression. He’ll be on Off The Record with Michael Landsberg today to talk about his friend Rick Rypien and mindcheck.ca. It’s all in support of Bell "Let’s Talk" day.
Kent Basky, who writes for our friends over at Nucks Misconduct, talks about his own struggles with depression. I find it very brave of anyone who chronicles their personal battles. Bravo, Kent.
Sportsnet’s Dan Murphy believes that the Canucks should target Bryan Allen and that Allen might just waive his No-Trade Clause to return to Vancouver.
GIF Break!! Courtesy @klovharu. Slick move, Bobby Lu!

Tim Thomas is having some Facebook fun all the way from Preachy Island. But remember folks, HE’S NOT GOING TO TALK ABOUT POLITICS ANYMO— Oh wait, yep, there he goes again.
Over at Arctic Ice Hockey, they point out that Alain Vigneault is going for a new record in D-zone deployments with Manny Malhotra. Not that this is a surprise to CanucksArmy faithful, where we’ve long mused on Coach V’s drastic zone deployment techniques. But even these numbers are pretty shocking.
And finally, over at Canucks Corner, Tom Benjamin suggests that Cory Schneider is more valuable at the end of the bench (and therefore playing for the Canucks) than anything that the Canucks could get right now for him.
