Headshots are a Canucks Army feature where we link to the day’s freshest news, and other assorted Canucks web-goodies. If you’ve written a blogpost, produced a tribute video or birthed a clever .gif into existence – please e-mail Thom at thom.drance@gmail.com.
Good work by Gordon Macintyre on Byron Bitz, who says his recent hip-flexor issues are the result of getting back into game-shape – and not a recurrence of the various ailments that caused him to miss two full seasons. Fingers crossed that he’s right.
Jason Brough points out that Bitz’s questionable status presents the Canucks with a conundrum headed into next weeks trade deadline.
Harrison Mooney’s spit-balling post today takes folks to task for misunderstanding Mason Raymond, and pointed me to today’s GIF Break (via Chloe Ezra), which, is wicked awesome, so let’s get to it:

I like Laura Dern jokes, mostly because she was the first lady I thought was hot and Jurassic Park is the best. Jordan Bowman makes a few in his "Casting Call" post over at the Legion today.
Finally here’s Cam Charron on Chris Tanev " In the seven games that Chris Tanev has played this year, Vancouver have earned 53.4% of all scoring chances at 5 on 5—101 for and 88 against—but while Tanev is on the ice, the number goes up to 57.4%." *Swoon*
