The boys are back in town…
Tuesday saw many Vancouver Canucks gather for an informal skate as a group. This tells us that it is officially go-time. Rick Tocchet has been back in Vancouver as well, making an appearance on Global TV and talking about getting ready for training camp.
The team tweeted out videos and photos of their players taking the ice as a group.
Together again 😁

Some of the Abbotsford Canucks were also on the ice for the skate. We noticed Danila Klimovich and Guillaume Brisebois as a couple of the players who were in attendance.
Elias Pettersson’s agent J.P. Barry was on Donnie & Dhali — The Team today and he expected Pettersson to be returning to Vancouver sometime this week along with many other European players.
We mentioned new Canuck Carson Soucy being one of the names in attendance. The Canucks shared a video of the new number seven getting onto the ice for practice. Soucy is heading into his sixth NHL season after spending three years with the Minnesota Wild and two with the Seattle Kraken.

We will be out at practice later this week and will be chatting with some players as training camp looms. Brendan Batchelor spoke with Tyler Myers, who said he had to evacuate from his home in Kelowna due to the wildfires. Myers said that his house ended up being fine and that he and his family were able to return home.
“The firefighters and the emergency responders were pretty amazing, and they’re still doing a lot of work.” -Myers
