Dan Riccio has found his new landing spot.
Riccio, who announced that he was leaving Sportsnet 650 Vancouver last week after eight years with the station, is launching a new show with The Nation Network (the parent company of CanucksArmy)!
The show, titled Off the Roster brings together Cabral Richards, Lindsay Dunn, and former Sportsnet 650 host Dan Riccio, three of the most well-known and charismatic media personalities in Canadian sports media. Together, the hosts will discuss all things Toronto sports, including the latest news from the Maple Leafs, Raptors, and Blue Jays, as well as all major events, including the World Cup, the Olympics, the Super Bowl, and more.
“Joining The Nation Network is an opportunity I’m truly energized by,” Riccio said. “My time in Vancouver has shaped me in so many ways, but heading back to Toronto, the place that raised me and launched my career, feels like coming full circle.”
The show debuts on December 1st, and will air every weekday at 7 AM PT. It will feature guests from across the sports landscape, as well as hosts from The Nation Network. The show will be aired on the brand new Nation Network YouTube channel. Content will also feature across social media on X, Instagram, and TikTok @Offtherosterpod.
Off The Roster is the latest addition to the growing stable of shows within The Nation Network. This launch reinforces TNN’s commitment to both enhancing its talent roster and introducing fresh content that engages fans. Through shows such as Off The Roster, TNN continues to solidify itself as the leading destination for top-tier sports content and showcase the ability to be a key driver of success for its brand partners.
