What does J.D. stand for?

If the Sedins don’t come back who are some FAs we can sign short term and flip at the deadline?
Three part Q for Monday mailbag: 1) Can Dahlin play in NHL next year and make an impact? 2) If by some miracle the Canucks get him, do you think it affects Sedins’ decision to play another year? 3) Would Sedins then wait until after draft to make their decision? Thanks!
- Yes, without a shadow of a doubt.
- Potentially, yes.
- Maybe not after the draft, but perhaps after the draft lottery. If the Canucks win the first overall pick, I think we all know how they’re using it.
At what number pick would you trade off best player available for need? I.e. If they pick 5th, they'll take a Dman
Besides Gillman, who would you (realistically) like to see the Canucks add to their management team?
What types of resources do the Canucks have at thier disposal for draft preparation? Internal / External ? How many man hours and $$ do they invest ? I don’t understand why they would invest a couple of mil on Burmistrov or Wiercioch instead of going all in with a draft army.
Please pick in order of overall hockey IQ and skill as potential D in draft: - Adam Boqvist - Evan Bouchard - Quintin Hughes
- Quinn Hughes
- Evan Bouchard
- Adam Boqvist
- Quinn Hughes
- Adam Boqvist
- Evan Bouchard
Who is more likely traded in the off-season, Goldobin or Baertschi? And who has a higher trade value?
Conspiracy theory #1. Linden knows JB wouldn’t stay on as draft specialist so signs him for 3 more years to fill the cupboards. So build through draft for 3 more years then can move on from JB.
From an advanced analytics perspective, what advantages could an Evander Kane bring to the Canucks?
We all seem to be excited about our prospects, but it takes a good coaching staff to bring it all together. How do you grade all of our coaches given what they have had to work with this year and why?
Is anyone working on advanced stats for coaching decisions so we can put some rationality to the cliche "he got out coached"?
Now that the rebuild is over. What’s the best free agent signing to help next seasons playoff run ?
Do you think Canucks bring back Dowd/Motte?

Let's assume we're talking about our roster at the start of the season
do you see JB making trades for older veterans on contracts longer than a year and signing players in free agency for longer than a year in an attempt to stay “competitive” not flipping them at the deadline or flipping them not getting proper value back please please say no.
Do you see the Canucks finishing near the bottom of the league again next year I do. All our D is coming back maybe joulevi will play. do you see Jim Benning having a very active off-season/draft, and if so what do you think he wIll do.
