The Canucks Twitter account teased the newest threads that the 2017-18 Canucks will be donning. For months, the conversation has circulated whether the Canucks would convert to the stick-in-rink, go green or rebrand entirely. It seems none of those will come to pass. The teaser clearly shows the orca logo, on a blue uniform.
Now, this doesn’t mean that the uniforms will go unchanged. There’s a strong possibility that the Canucks will drop the controversial “Vancouver” arched type from above the orca, as there’s no sign of even the tips of letters in the above post.
We will know the precise truth at the NHL Draft on June 23rd, when the uniforms are expected to be unveiled.
