A fairly even contest overall last night. The insertion of Steve Tambellini on the Sedin line didn’t stop the twins from producing scoring chances.
Other items of interest:
– Despite the evenness of the scoring chances, Colorado seemed to be commanding the puck for much of the game. Specifically, the last half of the third seemed to be spent entirely in the Canucks’ zone (this might just be score effects shining through, but the Canucks seemed to have an awfully hard time of even gaining control and dumping it out).
– Chance counter Passive Voice didn’t count scoring chances on three of the goals: Colorado’s second, where O’Reilly threw the puck out front on a rush and it bounced off someone and in (Winnik got credit); Vancouver’s third, in which Schaefer put it on net from the wall and it went in; and Raymond’s OT winner, which was a crazy fluke.
*Some minor bugs – the Canucks are listed as having only three players on the ice for the Avs’ chance late in the first, even though five Canucks (15, 17, 18, 20, 29) plus Luongo are clearly within a stick-length of the shooter.  In fact, Luongo appears to have disappeared for the end of the 1st, due to some screwy inputting of data.
