Canucks recall Jalen Chatfield and assign Guillaume Brisebois

The Canucks contacted the farm again today.
Returning from injury down in Utica, Chatfield has been recalled this morning by the Canucks. This is the first time that Chatfield has been recalled to the NHL. Although Darryl Keeping’s post from earlier this week was focusing on Olli Juolevi, Chatfield has posted some really encouraging numbers in the defensive zone.
Guillaume Brisebois was recalled by the Canucks last week but never actually dressed for a game.
Many expected the Canucks to recall a defenceman this morning as Troy Stecher was injured in last nights game, but Troy from Richmond was on the ice this morning with the Canucks at UBC.
Given that, it may simply be a chance to reward Chatfield with some NHL pay and practice time while getting Brisebois back down to Utica to play some games.
The Canucks take on the Colorado Avalanche tomorrow night.
