With Jay Beagle out with a broken hand and Elias Pettersson recovering from a head injury suffered against the Panthers, the Canucks have recalled centre Adam Gaudette from the Utica Comets

Gaudette has two goals and two assists with the Comets this season and has been very noticeable in all three zones.

With practice already underway, Gaudette has been placed on the second power-play unit and is expected to see some time there against the Penguins.
