Canucks Recall Ashton Sautner from Utica

Dec 27, 2015, 16:31 ESTUpdated: Invalid DateTime

The Canucks have summoned another warrior to try and fight the good fight against the injury bug this season.
They’ve recalled Ashton Sautner from the Utica Comets. He has 3 goals, 5 assists for 8 points in 19 games with the Comets this season, but he’s touted more for his two-way game, and at this point the Canucks are in no position to pick and choose their emergency help.
The Flin Flon, Manitoba native went undrafted in the 2014 NHL Draft, but was signed by the Canucks to a 3-year entry level deal in March of this year.
For more of a breakdown on Sautner’s play in junior, prior to joining the Canucks, the famous Rhys gave a thorough breakdown when signed in March.
