After something of a break following the NHL Entry Draft and free agency, Satiar Shah and I went back into the studio to break down all the Canucks’ happenings in the last few weeks.
We start with a conversation about the newest Canucks: Sam Gagner, Michael Del Zotto, Alexander Burmistrov, Patrick Wiercioch and Anders Nilsson. And in the wake of these moves, are the Canucks still a rebuilding team?
There’s also a lengthy discussion about trades the Canucks didn’t make on the draft floor, and what kind of a contract Bo Horvat will sign. It’s a fairly wide-ranging episode that almost doubles as a primer for what’s left for the Canucks this summer.
As an aside, we ran into some technical difficulties when recording this episode, so an apology is in order for the audio quality. That also goes a ways towards explaining why this episode, which we recorded last Friday, is just going live now.
