Canucks Army Podcast – Episode 16 – 2016-17

By J.D. Burke
Mar 2, 2017, 13:25 ESTUpdated:

After much adieu, the trade deadline is finally at an end. Wasn’t that a trip? The Canucks made a pair of trades and are counted among the league’s winners, if not the deadline’s single biggest winner period.
Talk about taking a significant step in the right direction. Short of a Ryan Miller trade, Canucks general manager Jim Benning did everything in his power to help the long-term health of this organization. They’re two prospects richer in Nikolay Goldobin and Jonathan Dahlen and leave the week with one more pick than they had prior.
Now, that’s a lot to digest for Canucks fans, surely. So Satiar Shah and I entered the studio to put everything together. What do the Canucks moves mean? Where are they going? And how can they best finish this season? You’ll just have to listen to find out.
