Canucks Army Podcast – Episode 15 – 2016-17 Feat. Dan Murphy

By J.D. Burke
Feb 28, 2017, 19:53 ESTUpdated:
We finally have a Canucks trade to report. Yes, the Canucks dealt Alexandre Burrows to the Ottawa Senators in exchange for top prospect Jonathan Dahlen. It’s a sombre, bittersweet occasion for Canucks fans, who’d come to love everything Burrows did on and off the ice in his twelve years as a member of the team.
To help myself and my co-host Satiar Shah break everything down, we’ve brought Sportsnet’s Dan Murphy onto the show. We discuss the Burrows trade, what’s left of the market for Ryan Miller and Jannik Hansen. Then we get into what it’s like to live a life in the day of Murph on the trade deadline and some of his craziest stories from the festivities.
As always, I’d hope that you rate, review and subscribe on iTunes or the podcast player of your choice. I hope you enjoy this week’s episode, and I look forward to the possibility of another trade or two forcing onto the airwaves again in the coming days.
