Canucks Army Podcast – Episode 1 – 2016-2017 Season

Oct 25, 2016, 23:46 EDTUpdated:
It’s the return of the Canucks Army podcast for the 2016-2017 hockey season. J.D. Burke and myself will be your hosts for this hockey season and this is the first of a line of weekly instalments. We begin the inaugural episode by taking stock of the Canucks four game winning streak and their recent, less impressive performances. J.D. provides an analytical evaluation of what we’ve seen from the Canucks so far and we discuss some individual performances and what they could mean in the big picture.
It’s difficult to not express at least some optimism about what we’ve seen to begin the season and two of the Canucks best players have been Brandon Sutter and Markus Granlund. Goaltending gets top marks but the question is, how sustainable is it?
We also discuss Jake Virtanen, the system the Canucks are employing under the guidance of Willie Desjardins and Doug Jarvis and much more.
I can go on, but just take a listen instead:
