During Thursday’s game in China, Bo Horvat was on the opposite side of a hit from the Kings’ Drew Doughty. According to Sportsnet’s Dan Murphy, Horvat is expected to be out for roughly one week.
With two more exhibition games to be played after the Canucks return from China, Horvat will likely be out for the remainder of the pre-season.
It appeared to be an innocent hit, but Horvat was in obvious discomfort afterwards on the bench. The estimated timeline of one week is surely a positive sign because it doesn’t appear to be too serious. The regular season starts on October 7th, which means the newly-signed forward will have two weeks to work on what looks to be a shoulder injury.
