It’s time for everyone’s favourite prospect update, Blackfish: Canucks Army Prospect Report.
Elias Pettersson has continued to look good, the Canucks locked up Jonah Gadjovich and both goalie prospects have been great to start the year. It’s only one week that has passed but there is plenty to breakdown.

  • Kole Lind was limited to four points in four games this past week. The younger has been so hot this season that even a PPG pace is considered ‘limited’. He has his 8 game point streak snapped on Oct 15, but registered an assist against Tri-City on the 17th. His 4.0 shots per game are very encouraging.
  • 2016 6th round pick Jakob Stukel has 2 goals in 2 games this past week – he also had 6 SOG in those two games combined.

  • Jonah Gadjovich only appeared in one game this past week, and then missed another due to a minor injury. Nothing to be concerned about going forward. The Canucks signed Gadjovich to a three year entry level contract this past week.
  • Cole Candella player four games for Sudbury this past week – he had points in every single game. He ended the week with four points (1-3-4) in those four contests. He did have rough outing against Oshawa on the 15th, going -5.
  • Brett McKenzie with one assist in two games for North Bay.
  • Defenceman Matt Brassard had three assists in three games for Oshawa. His shot totals are encouraging with 16 combined shots in those three contests. Keep shooting the puck and good things will happen.
