  • Brett McKenzie appeared in three contests this week – where he finished the week with 2 goals and 2 assists. McKenzie continues to have a good D+2 season for North Bay, and our own Jeremy Davis discussed this at length earlier today. His goals this week included this beauty:
  • Carl Neill of the Carl Neills had a great week – as he posted 5 assists on Sunday! He also had another assist for a total of 6 assists in two games. He was named the QMJHL second star of the week.
  • Tate Olson was a PPG player this week – posting three points in three contests for Prince George. Surprisingly P.G. continues to be one of the best teams in the CHL and Olson is a big part of that success.
  • Brisebois had a bit of down week, being limited to one point in three contests – but his 0.86 PPG is well above his career average.
  • Dmitry Zhukenov seems to be finding his stride after recovering from an injury. He had three points in two contests this past week, which includes the GWG in OT:
  • Olli Juolevi appeared in two contests for London – he scored one goal
  • Jakob Stukel scored in back to back games this past week, which included this one:
  • Cole Candella played three games this past week – and had one assist.
  • Rodrigo Abols remains in limbo at this time – he was reportedly waived, but there was no formal announcements of any kind.

  • Boeser was limited to one assist in one game this past weekend.
  • Adam Gaudette appeared in two games this weekend and was held pointless during the Friday contest but broke out with one goal and three assists in the Saturday game.
  • William Lockwood was held pointless this weekend.

  • Lukas Jasek appeared in two contests for HC Trinec – he was held pointless.
  • Anton Cederholm and Rogle agreed to terminate his contract, and Cederholm has now moved to AIK in the Allsvenskan. Ice time was the main reason for Cederholm wanting to make the move as he was averaging 6:42 of ice time with Rogle.

  • The Utica Comets played two games against the powerhouse Toronto Marlies, and it didn’t go well. Losing both games by a combined score of 10-4.
  • Jordan Subban lead the Comets in scoring for the weekend with 4 points, including 2 powerplay goals, in the two games. Subban is tied for 6th in AHL scoring, and is currently tied for 1st in AHL defenceman scoring.
  • Cody Kunyk was assigned to the Alaska Aces of the ECHL.
  • My good friend Jeremy Davis has a more in depth look at the Utica Comets games here.
  • Not listed above, but Demko appeared in one of the games this past weekend – he currently had a 5.00 GAA and 0.848 SV%.
  • ECHL

    • The Alaska aces season begins tomorrow.

    Schedule

Cederholm’s schedule is now based on the AIK schedule. Abols/Portland’s schedule has been removed going forward.
    Have a good weekend!
