The NCAA playoffs are in full swing, the CHL season ends this week and the AHL is fully in playoff chase mode.

  • Carl Neill is back again! – he played three games this week and had points in each contest – he ended the week with one goal, two assists, +2 and 9 SOG.
  • Tate Olson played two games this week – He had 1 goal, 2 PIM ands +1.
  • Kyle Pettit played two games this week – he had 1 SOG
  • Guillaume Brisebois is currently injured – I was unable to determine what the injury is.
  • Mackenze Stewart had a big game (by his standards) with 1 goal and 1 assist against Kelowna on March 13th – he was held pointless in his other game this week.

  • Boeser keeps on trucking along and putting up points – in the two games against Colorado College, Boeser had five assists. North Dakota will face Minnesota Duluth in the NCHC Semi-Finals on Friday.
  • Gaudette played two games against Notre Dame this past weekend – he had one assist, and 6 SOG. Northeastern move onto the Semi-Finals where they will face Thatcher Demko’s Boston College Eagles.

  • Thatcher Demko had an up and down weekend against Vermont in the Hockey East Quarterfinals – He earned his 10th shutout of the season on Friday, lost 4-2 in game three and then Boston College was able to win the deciding Game 3 in OT, 4-3. As mentioned above, Demko will face Gaudette in the Semi-Finals on Friday.

  • Mike Zalewski is out with a concussion – He joins Jon Landry and Wacey Hamilton on the injured list.
  • As you all know, Gaunce was assigned back to Utica and then recalled the next day. Pedan and Grenier were also recalled this week.
  • Andrey Pedan, Alexandre Grenier, Brendan Gaunce, Linden Vey, Yannick Weber and Alex Biega are up with the Canucks.
