On today’s episode of Canucks Conversation, we recapped the Vancouver Canucks’ Wednesday night victory over the Colorado Avalanche, and began to look ahead at what’s next for the Canucks this season.
We discussed Elias Pettersson’s usage in a matchup role and the Canucks’ goaltending situation. We also talked about the interesting state of the standings in the Western Conference, as the Canucks sit just three points out of a playoff spot but also five points out of dead last in the league.
Later, we broke down our listener’s responses to our Atlas Goods — use promo code CC15 for 15% off — poll question. In today’s poll, we asked our listeners to pick what has been the biggest surprise for them so far this season.
The options were Bo Horvat scoring 16 goals; Thatcher Demko’s less-than-spectacular start to the season; and Nils Aman making (and sticking with) the big club out of training camp.
