Welcome back to Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL lines site Betway!
The Canucks continued to make their stake for being the most inconsistent team in hockey. They followed their ultra-successful three-game road trip by laying an egg against the Washington Capitals at home, in a wire-to-wire loss.
Vancouver will continue their four game homestand tonight against the Panthers, where greats Henrik Sedin, Daniel Sedin and Roberto Luongo will be celebrated for being inducted into the hockey hall of fame.
Here are three bets I like for tonight’s game.
Lock Of The Day
Yes, this one again. It hit again last game and we’re going to ride the momentum. Pettersson has eclipsed 22 shots in his last five games which is an average of 4.4 per game. Over 2.5 again tonight.
Player Prop
Brandon Montour to register over 2.5 shots at -138. My $10 bet would return $17.27.
Montour has revitalized his career in Florida and has become a mainstay in their top four. Montour has registered 21 shots in his past six games, which is an average of 3.5 per game. I like the over 2.5 here.
Over/Under
The game to finish with over 6.5 goals at -134. My $10 bet would return $17.50
Vancouver and Florida are both in the top half of the league in goals for and in the bottom 10 in the league in goals against. I expect a high scoring affair tonight.
Last Game Bets
Elias Pettersson to register over 2.5 shots at -163. My $10 bet would return $16.15.- HIT
John Carlson to register over 2.5 shots at -163. My $10 bet would return $16.15. – HIT
Evgeny Kuznetsov and Elias Pettersson to register 3 or more shots at +200. My $5 bet would return $15. – MISSED
Another day of 2 out of 3, we staked $25 and returned $32.30. We are now down $4.32 on the year.
