The Canucks continued their streak of win one, lose one as they defeated the Anaheim Ducks 3-1 on Tuesday night. It was far from a 60 minute effort from Vancouver, but the team put their work boots on in the third period outshooting the Ducks 15-4 and scoring the two deciding goals.

Next up for the Canucks is a measuring stick game against the defending champion Vegas Golden Knights, who are just one point ahead of Vancouver in the standings.

The penalty-kill remains Vancouver’s Achilles heel. They rank 22nd league-wide and have given up a power-play goal in five of their last six games. Look for Eichel to factor in if Vegas scored with the man advantage as he leads the team in power-play goals and points.
