Welcome back to Betway Bets of the Day, brought to you by NHL betting odds site Betway!
The Canucks continued their streak of win one, lose one as they defeated the Anaheim Ducks 3-1 on Tuesday night. It was far from a 60 minute effort from Vancouver, but the team put their work boots on in the third period outshooting the Ducks 15-4 and scoring the two deciding goals.
Next up for the Canucks is a measuring stick game against the defending champion Vegas Golden Knights, who are just one point ahead of Vancouver in the standings.

Player Prop

The penalty-kill remains Vancouver’s Achilles heel. They rank 22nd league-wide and have given up a power-play goal in five of their last six games. Look for Eichel to factor in if Vegas scored with the man advantage as he leads the team in power-play goals and points.
I like this play at .8 units

Player Prop

Quinn Hughes to register an assist at -182.  My $12.50 bet would return $19.37.
This has been good old reliable this season as Hughes has scored an assist in ten of his last 12 games. Put a full unit on this play.

Main-Markets

Both teams to register under 6.5 goals at -120. My $10 bet would return $18.33.
Yes both teams have high-octane offensive players, but both have shown they can put the clamps on in key situations. I expect tonight’s game to be so tight, almost like a playoff game as both teams have been stifling defensively this season as Vegas ranks second in goals against, and Vancouver ranks fourth.
Put .8 units on this play.

Last Game Bets

Artemi Panarin to register over 2.5 shots at -175. my $12.50 bet would return $19.64.  – HIT
Alperen Sengun to register over 4.5 assists -134. My $10 bet would return $17.50. – MISSED
Nikola Jokic to register over 12.5 rebounds at -110. My $10 bet would return $19. – MISSED
We got insane value on Sengun as his closing assists line moved to 5.5, but of course we get beat on a fourth quarter blowout hook, classic NBA.
We staked $32.50 and returned $19.64, we are now up $46.66 on the year.
