Welcome back to Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL betting odds site Betway!
On Sunday, the Canucks continued their hot stretch of play, extending their point streak to six games with a 4-3 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks. Brock Boeser scored his 23rd goal of the season in the second period to tie Auston Matthews for the league lead in goals.
Next up for Vancouver is a matchup with the red-hot Nashville Predators, who have won four straight games. Here are three bets I like for tonight’s game.
Player Prop
and
Elias Pettersson to score anytime at +155. My $10 bet $25.5o
Pettersson has started to pick up his game on this road trip. He has registered 11 shots in his last two games — an average of 5.5 per game — and scored Sunday afternoon in Chicago. In Vancouver’s last matchup with Nashville, he scored his only hat-trick of the season and registered five shots on net.
Digging deeper here, Pettersson loves the matchup against the Predators. He has tallied nine goals and seven assists for 16 points in 12 career games against Nashville. This is the first time in this series’ history that we’re doing two plays on one player, but I really love this spot.
Put .8 units on both of these plays.
Pre-Built Bets
Vancouver to score a power-play goal at -134. My $10 bet would return $17.50.
My original plan was to take Nashville’s power-play here, but the odds are insanely juiced at -182. Instead, we get a significantly better Canucks power-play against the 23rd-ranked Predators penalty-kill at much better odds. Yeah, it’s a no-brainer.
This is another play where I like deploying .8 units.
Last Game Bets
Elias Pettersson to register over 2.5 shots at -134. My $12.50 bet would return $21.87. – HIT
Vancouver to score a power-play goal at -143. My $12.50 bet would return $21.25. – HIT
Connor Bedard to register over 2.5 shots at -175. My $12.50 bet would return $19.64. – HIT
We go perfect, all on full unit plays. We staked $36.50 and returned $62.67, and are now up $125.79(10 units) on the season.
