After a 10-1 win against the lowly San Jose Sharks, Vancouver had a tough test with the 7-1-1 Dallas Stars coming to town. As you know by now, the Canucks passed with flying colours, shutting out Dallas 2-0. This is the team’s third straight win and seventh straight game where they have collected at least a point.

Next up for Vancouver is the struggling Edmonton Oilers, who the Canucks can potentially break tonight with a win. Here are three bets I like for tonight’s game.

Get in on this bet while you can. It seems like these are the last few games where Hughes’s shot line is going to be at 2.5 with these massive odds shifts. Hughes has hit his over 2.5 in eight of his last nine games, including a six shot outing on Saturday against the Stars.

Leon Draisaitl to register over 2.5 shots at -163. My $12.50 bet would return $20.19.

In as close to a must-win game as you can have in game eleven of a season, I expect Draisaitl to come out firing. He has also been reunited with McDavid at even strength. Draisaitl has hit his over 2.5 in three of his last four games and had seven shots against Vancouver in their last matchup.

This game is at pick ’em odds, which to me, is absolutely insane. Vancouver is 8-2-1 at home against the 2-7-1 Edmonton Oilers. These two teams have already met twice this season, with Vancouver winning both matchups at a combined score of 12-4. I expect Edmonton to be desperate tonight, but Vancouver is playing some great hockey, and we are riding with them to win outright.
