Betway Bets of the Day: Canucks set to battle the powerhouse Penguins offense

Welcome back to Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL Lines site Betway!
Alert the masses! The Vancouver Canucks have finally won a hockey game!
The Canucks emerged victorious in a high scoring affair against the Seattle Kraken, and lucky for us, we took the over last night. A date with the Pittsburgh Penguins is up next, here are three bets to key in on.
Easy Money
Elias Pettersson to register over 2.5 shots at -175 My $10 bet would return $15.71.
Pettersson has been Vancouver’s best player early this season and has quickly found chemistry with new linemates Ilya Mikheyev and Andrei Kuzmenko.
Pettersson has hit over 2.5 shots in 6 out 8 games this season, analytically speaking, I like this bet again tonight.
Hunch of the Day:
The game to finish with over 6.5 goals at -106. My $10 bet would return $19.50.
Back to back nights where I like the over. The Penguins are the definition of a high event team, they currently rank 2nd in the NHL in shots and 31st in the league in shots against.
Risky Business
Evgeni Malkin to register 2 or more points at +200. My $5 bet would return $15.00.
Any talk of Malkin’s demise prior to this season were vastly wrong. Malkin has been an absolute force for the league leading Penguins offence.
The dominant Penguins centre has points in 6 of 7 games this year and a matchup against the 31st ranked penalty kill in the league makes you think a huge night is ahead.
We’re just going to sprinkle on this, I like the odds but not quite enough to do a full unit.
Last Game’s Bets
Oliver Bjorkstrand to register over 2.5 shots at -16. My $10 bet would return $16.25 – HIT
The game to finish with over 6.5 goals at -112. My $10 bet would return $19.00 – HIT
Canucks -1.5 on the puck line +250. My $10 bet would return $35.00 – MISSED
We were a mere 30 seconds away from going 3-0 last night, but a late Jaden Schwartz goal ruined that. We staked $30 and won $35.25, a night of slight profits but we’re still down $5.66 on the year.
