Vancouver put forward their best 60-minute effort in Vegas last night and cruised to an easy 5-1 win against the Golden Knights. Vancouver has now won four out of their last five games.

Next up for Vancouver is San Jose as the team wraps up their three-game road trip, here are three bets I like for tonight’s game.

Meier leads the NHL in shots with 115 in 23 games played which is an average of five shots per game. In his last three games, Meier has averaged 6.66 shots, I like that to continue tonight.

Elias Pettersson to register over 2.5 shots at -150. My $10 bet would return $16.66.

Pettersson was buzzing last night tallying a season-high nine shots on net. Pettersson is on a five-game point streak and in that span has averaged 4.75 shots per game. I like his over tonight.

Timo Meier and Bo Horvat both to score a goal at +325. My $5 bet would return $21.25.

Horvat the NHL’s second-leading scorer has scored six goals in his last six games. Timo Meier is the Sharks’ most dangerous marksman and has scored four goals in his last three games.

I don’t mind putting half a unit on this.
