With all signs pointing towards a Vancouver win in game five, the club was unable to deliver, as Roman Josi and Alex Carrier scored five minutes apart to erase a third period deficit and force a game six back in Nashville.
This series has followed the exact same script as the 2011 series between these two teams so far, and Vancouver will hope that continues in game six. The last time Vancouver won a non-COVID playoff series on the road was in 2011 at Bridgestone Arena, also in game six.

Filip Forsberg to register over 3.5 shots at -150. My $12.50 bet would return $20.98.

Expect the Predators’ leading marksman to be shooting away with their season once again on the line. Although Forsberg has only hit this mark once in this series, he’s always been phenomenal on home-ice.
I’ll use the whole season sample rather than the five-game one and put a unit on Forsberg here.
Today’s expected goaltender matchups for our highlighted game:
The Vancouver Canucks’ Arturs Silovs (3-0-1) vs. The Nashville Predators’ Juuse Saros (35-24-5).

Elias Pettersson to score a point at -138. My $12.50 bet would return $21.58.

If anyone told me prior to this season that Gustav Nyquist would have better odds to score a point in a playoff game than Elias Pettersson, I would have called you crazy, but here we are. Don’t get me wrong, Pettersson has been a ghost these playoffs and down the stretch for Vancouver, but slowly but surely, the Canucks’ star seems to be starting to get out of his funk.
Rick Tocchet mentioned in a presser yesterday that Pettersson has identified that he needs to move his feet more, and if he takes his own advice, I really like him to start to slowly breakout. Remember, Pettersson torched the Predators in the regular season, scoring five points in three games, including a hat-trick on Halloween in a 5-2 victory.
Take this play at a full unit also.

Quinn Hughes to register an assist at -118. My $12.50 bet would return $23.10.

Running back the Hughes wagon, why would you not? Hughes has absolutely feasted on Nashville throughout his career. In this series, he has five assists in five games and has registered a baffling 20 assists in 13 games against the Preds, which is utterly insane.
Put a full unit on all our plays tonight.

Last Game Bets

Brad Marchand to score a point a -118. My $12.50 bet would return 19.16.  – MISSED
Brad Marchand to score two+ points at +220. My $6.25 bet would return $20 – MISSED
Boston to win money-line at -130. My $12.5o bet would return $22.11. – MISSED
Really debated taking the Nylander shot ladder instead of Bruins ML but we’re not in the excuses game, bad reads by me yesterday. We are now down $22.67 so far in the playoffs. No need to panic, less than two units and we’re only a few days in, you know we’re getting this back in blood.
