Fast Facts
> The Unknown: With Giguere sidelined with the dreaded leaky groin, Toronto will serve up Jonas Gustavsson backed up by James Reimer. Vancouver has yet to see the Monster in a regular season game and Reimer has yet to play one second of a game in the bigs. Gustavsson is 4-8-2 this season with a .901 S% and a 2.91 GAA.
> The Known: Both teams will get back key defensemen in Komisarek for the Leafs (though perhaps more valuable is they can sit Lebda who looked bloody awful against the Flames) and Ehrhoff for the Canucks. Also known is that Vancouver will look to wrap up their homestand with another win to pull even with the Avs for the NW lead while the Leafs will look to end their mini road trip above .500.
> The Odds: Vancouver’s #1 PP will run up against the 29th ranked PK. On the flip side Toronto will ice the 24th ranked PP and Vancouver’s 6th ranked PK will try and stop them. So the result is clear: The Leafs will score five PP goals at a minimum. Numbers can lie folks, it’s just too perfect for this to become a cakewalk.
