Hey look, I made it three weeks straight without missing out on the complete Canucks schedule, which is good news for however many of you check for this thing regularly.
Yesterday’s All-Star game turned out to be a huge hit for Vancouverites, as own very own Brock Boeser got to be the star of the show. But the All-Star festivities aren’t entirely over – at least not for Reid Boucher and Thatcher Demko, who will be representing the Comets at the AHL All-Star Classic tonight in Utica.
There’s plenty more happening this week in the world of Canucks prospects, so check out the schedule below, and then move on to the notes.

Notes

  • Let’s start off with the aforementioned AHL All-Star Classic. I wrote about this in last week’s calendar, so I don’t need to rehash everything here. The highlights are as follows: Boucher and Demko will be there, the game is being hosted by Utica, Brendan Burke is doing commentary, and you can see it on Sportsnet at 4:00 p.m.
  • The NCAA Beanpot tournament is coming up starting next week, so you’ll be able to see Canucks prospect and college scoring leader Adam Gaudette on your big ol’ TV’s. This week, Will Lockwood‘s Michigan Wolverines are on twice (Friday and Saturday, both at 4:30 p.m. on TSN GO), but of course he won’t be playing as a result of season-ending surgery. You can, however, see top prospect Quinn Hughes, a teammate of Lockwood’s, at those times. Additionally, you can see highly touted draft prospect Brady Tkachuk play for Boston University at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, also on TSN GO.
  • This weekend’s CHL Saturday Showcase features the London Knights and Sarnia Sting. There aren’t any Canucks prospects involved, but London does have a couple of notable prospects in defenceman Evan Bouchard and forward Nathan Dunkley. You can catch that game at 12:30 p.m. local time on Sportsnet on Saturday.
