It’s a new week, which means a new calendar is needed for the Canucks and their various prospects. Things are as busy as ever for the North American prospects, but over in Europe there’s a bit of a lull for those than aren’t present at the Olympics. We’ll have to wait all the way until Saturday to see Elias Pettersson, though Dahlen, who’s gone a little cold of late to be honest, has a pair of games.

Notes

  • NCAA leading goal and point-scorer Adam Gaudette (you may have heard of him) is on TSN GO again this week, fresh off leading the Huskies to a Beanpot championship. You can watch him again on Saturday at 4 p.m. local time.
  • This week’s CHL Saturday showcase features the QMJHL Gatineau and Halifax. The big draw here is Filip Zadina, who plays for the Halifax Mooseheads. You can see him, and fellow 2018 draft prospect Jared McIsaac, on Sportsnet Pacific and Sportsnet ONE at 12:30 p.m. local time on Saturday.
  • There’s a lot going on today for a Monday: it’s President’s Day in the States and Family Day in a number of eastern provinces, and that usually means day time hockey. The Comets are already underway in Binghamton, and there are four OHL Canucks prospects in action as well.
  • Jonah Gadjovich has had a pretty tough go of it this season when it comes to injuries. Outside of a World Junior gold medal (which is a pretty big deal of course), he hasn’t gotten much luck this year. After missing time with wrist and shoulder ailments, he then missed a handful of games due to back problems. Luckily, he’s back in action today and making the most of it, from the looks of things. Hopefully that’s a sign of brighter things to come.
