The Canucks will reportedly be able to operate at full capacity starting Wednesday

The Vancouver Canucks will be able to operate at full capacity for their next home game.

According to Richard Zussman of Global British Columbia, the province will lift restrictions on all organized gatherings on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 11:59 p.m. local time.

Along with most of the other Canadian provinces and territories, B.C. implemented restrictions on mass gatherings back in January. At that time, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry said that the goal was to lift restrictions by Family Day, which is on Monday, Feb. 21.

Throughout January and February, the Canucks have been operating at half capacity for home games. Their next game is on Thursday night in San Jose against the Sharks, but when they return to Vancouver to host the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday, they’ll be able to have a full crowd.

Vaccine passports and mask mandates will also remain in place in B.C. for the foreseeable future. Ontario and Manitoba announced that they’ll be getting rid of the vaccine passport program on March 1 while Alberta and Saskatchewan have already done so.
