Sharing our Gino Odjick stories and breaking down Rutherford’s press conference: Canucks Conversation Jan. 16th

On today’s episode of Canucks Conversation, Chris Faber and I broke down Jim Rutherford’s press conference from earlier today, and gave our takes on rebuilds vs. retool.
I played devil’s advocate a bit and talked about why getting caught up in the semantics isn’t worth anyone’s time, and why a “retool” might not be the worst thing in the world for this team.
But before all that, we reacted to the sad news of Vancouver Canucks legend Gino Odjick’s passing over the weekend. I shared the (what I think to be pretty hilarious) story of the time that Gino let me go ahead of him in the dinner line in the Canucks’ press box prior to a game, saying “you need it more than me.”
You can watch the clip of us talking about Gino and his legacy below, and if you haven’t already read the tribute to Gino that Wyatt Arndt wrote this morning, I’d encourage you to do so by clicking here.
