> You’re In The Other Dressing Room Dude: Tonight will be Manny Malhotra’s return to the Shark Tank after one year in San Jose where – much like now – he provided some clutch faceoff and PK work. San Jose wanted to keep him this summer, but Vancouver brought the coin and comforts of security. While Malhotra is thriving north of the border, the Sharks replaced him (more or less) with Scott Nichol who is now one of the Sharks best guys from the dot. Put a nice little bow on the whole thing.
> Will The Other Shoe Drop? And What Does That Mean Exactly?: Cory Schneider returns to the pipes tonight and has yet to be defeated in regulation (just ask the Stars). The Sharks are as stiff a contest as they come and Schneids is the most well-rested player on the roster. Unless the Sharks fold quickly, Schneider may need to roll out another Dallas-like showing to get the two points.
> Impress Your Friends With Knowledge!: Though Vancouver’s fourth line has been in flux through most of the year, they’ve chipped in eight goals collectively (Glass x3, Bolduc, Bliznak, Volpatti, Schaefer and Raymond last night). Vancouver’s fourth line from 2009-2010 collectively kicked in six goals. Anyone miss Hordichuk yet? Of course not.
