The winning streak continued and some new players made their way into, or back into, our Player Power Rankings. The season is almost over and, to be frank, there’s not much left to say that hasn’t already been pointed out. I’m switching course with this week’s Power Rankings and giving some props (or sympathy) to some names who aren’t in a staple in this weekly feature.
1. Thatcher Demko
If you’re making your NHL debut, you’re automatically No. 1 barring some huge milestone by another player. First NHL start, first NHL win. On a side note, I was scouring through past photos and noticed that he has great taste in designing his pads!
2. Adam Gaudette
Sorry to Adam, but he’s No. 2 despite also making his debut. Nonetheless, he’s played great in the past two games and is managing to thrive in a bottom-6 role.
3. Derek Dorsett
Man, it was definitely nice to see him on the broadcast on Saturday night, looking dapper as always.

4. Ashton Sautner
He got his first NHL point with an assist on Darren Archibald’s goal on Saturday! Also, check out this crazy stat:
5. Lukas Jasek
A CanucksArmy favourite, he signed an ATO with Utica after his season concluded in the Czech men’s league. He had 1 goal and 2 assists in his AHL debut – not too bad!
6. Kole Lind
He’s getting ready to make his professional hockey debut in Utica!
7. Hockey Canada
They’re smart for the reasons outlined below:
8. Joe LaBate
I don’t play Fortnite, but Joe Labate and some other Comets players do and he’s been broadcasting some of his games. You can decide whether he’s good or not:
9. Jonah Gadjovich and Brett McKenzie
They’re the only Canucks prospects left in the OHL playoffs:
10. Michael DiPietro
His season is over, but now it’s unknown with what he’s doing next:
11. Matt Brassard
His season is over and he hurt his shoulder. Bad break for Brassard.
12. USA Hockey
They won’t be getting Boeser, but that’s good news for Canucks fans!

If you haven’t noticed, Rick Dhaliwal is a very valuable source when it comes to Canucks news. If you aren’t already, you should follow him ASAP.
