As hoped by many, this week’s show is laden with previews of the 2012 World Junior Championships as well as some talk about the Oilers and the Flames.

Corey Pronman from Hockey Prospectus/ESPN Insider leads off the show this week. He discusses his favorites in the WJHC, takes a look at Team Canada, Team USA and Team Russia and then makes his predictions for how the tournament will end up when all is said and done.
Segment 2

Kent Wilson, Editor of the Nation Network talks with Lowetide about a postively festive potpourri of topics. Included in the bowl is the fact that Jarome Iginla is now approaching 500 career goals and the performance of Calgary GM Jay Feaster in his first full season. The Dynamic Duo also discuss the new Coach of the LA Kings Darryl Sutter and document how strange Sutter’s time was in Calgary.
Then the conversation turns to the WJHC and Team Canada gets the ol’ Holiday Once Over.
