Great find by Head to the Net – who got their hands on the letter Mike Gillis sent to Mike Duco advising him on the proper way to use twitter. Because Gillis is such an expert. Funny stuff. #UseitlikeGrabner
Yankee Canucks has some interesting goal charts for the Canucks first round series against Chicago, and their second round series against Nashville up at Nucksmisconduct. As usual, the Canucks had issues dealing with the Blackhawks in the slot, and that’s where Chicago did most of their damage. Nashville on the other hand, did most of their damage off bank-shots from behind the net. Personally, I am not looking forward to the Stanley Cup Finals goal chart – that thing is going to be ugly.
Puck Daddy broke down the results from the Business Journal’s NHL fan difficulty rankings. Their findings: the Canucks are the 12th easiest NHL team to root for. If that’s true, then why does it feel so damn hard sometimes.
Our good friends over at PassittoBulis have begun their "every goal x Canucks scored last season" series with profiles of the most recently departed Canucks. Here’s Tambellini, Glass, TorresEhrhoff and the one goal plugs.
Kristen Odland catches up with Mason Raymond at the Calgary Stampede. He says he’s progressing, but he’s still having issues getting in and out of his friends truck. I’m not a doctor, but I think it’s safe to say that Raymond won’t be healthy to begin next season.
