Headshots are a Canucks Army feature where we link to the day’s freshest news, and other assorted Canucks web-goodies. If you’ve written a blogpost, produced a tribute video, or birthed a clever .gif into existence – please e-mail Thom at thom.drance@gmail.com.
In what some people are choosing to classify as “news”, Roberto Luongo participated in a video interview from a practice rink in Florida, that was beyond bizarre.
As The Stanchion points out, I’m not sure what is creepier – the fact that it looks like it is taking place in a shower room, or the giggling by the interviewer towards the end. Drance’s take here.
Harvey Fialkov of the Sun Sentinel looks at how the entire situation is impacting the two incumbent goaltenders in Florida. I find it interesting that Luongo was practicing with Tomas Vokoun, who is now adjusting to life as a backup goaltender. Maybe they were trying to console each other?
We here at Canucks Army have spent some time in the past few weeks talking Canucks fans off of the ledge regarding the lockout. There is actually something to be gained from a shortened season. Pass it To Bulis takes a more sarcastic approach while listing their silver linings. Harrison connects with more than a few thinly veiled jabs at ”fans” of the team.
Speaking of our friends over at PiTB, they are looking for donations in support of their club. It’s for the ‘Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer’ project, which is simply a spectacular cause and one close to our heart here at CanucksArmy. Our own Cam Davie (you may know him as the Tinfoil Tuque) has done an incredible job in raising over $2,000 for the charity. I implore you to go donate whatever your financial means allow you to do so. Trust me, it feels good.

Getting to meet your childhood idol is one thing. Getting to play golf with him, while soaking up every ounce of wisdom he has to impart on you? Well, that’s just awesome. I guess that was just a cherry on top of a tremendous week for Mr. Lack.
Finally, it seems as if there’s no end in sight to the stalemate between the players and the owners. In Day 3 of his ’15 Stages of NHL Lockout Preparation’, J.Bowman is subjecting us all to what he calls a "beard". If this isn’t incentive enough for a deal to be reached, then I don’t know what is.
