The biggest news emanating out of the NHL today was the cancellation of regular season games through October 24th. As Greg Wyshynski points out, that doesn’t necessarily mean that an 82-game schedule can’t happen, but an agreement would need to be reached in the next three weeks.
J.Bowman tries to remain positive through these difficult times, but it’s pretty tough. He somehow still shows the wherewithal to mix Prab Rai, and Sandra Bullock into the same post. He’s in midseason form!

According to the twitter feed of News1130 Sports, the Rochester Americans have named Cody Hodgson as their captain for this coming season. That sound you’re all hearing is Alain Vigneault throwing up in his mouth – wasting a perfectly good lozenge along the way.
